DOT 4
Because of the special formulation of RAVENOL DOT 4 the international specifications SAE J 1704, ISO 4925 and the safety regulations FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 from the United States of America are exceeded.
Application Note
RAVENOL DOT can be used in all vehicles for which the DOT 4 specification for brake fluids is required. It is suitable for all hydraulic brake systems with synthetic fluids.
RAVENOL DOT is miscible with all known brake fluids of the same specification. To use the high performance level of RAVENOL DOT , a complete change of the brake fluid is recommended.
RAVENOL DOT is not suitable for vehicles with mineral oil systems (e.g. certain Citroën models).
FOLLOW VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN ADDING BRAKE FLUID KEEP BRAKE FLUID CLEAN AND DRY. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials may result in brake failure or costly repairs.
STORE BRAKE FLUID ONLY IN ITS ORIGINAL CONTAINER. KEEP CONTAINER CLEAN AND TIGHTLY CLOSED TO PREVENT ADSORPTION OF WATER. CAUTION! DO NOT REFILL CONTAINER AND DO NOT USE FOR OTHER LIQUIDS.
Dispose of used brake fluid responsibly (EU waste code 160113).
Brake fluid damages paint work –if spilt wash off immediately with plenty of water.
Characteristics
- optimum ABS characteristics
- chemical stability
- best lubrication efficiency
- neutral behaviour regarding brake parts
- low viscosity at low temperatures
- miscible with all brake fluids of the same specifications

Coolant
The quality of an antifreeze is no longer just determined by the antifreeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product), but by the rust protection. That is why manufacturers subject antifreeze to lengthy corrosion and cavitation tests.
Compliance with the requirements:

RAVENOL OTC Organic Techn. Coolant Concentrate C12+ protects the cooling system from rust, frost, and in summer, from overheating.
Application Note
RAVENOL OTC Organic Techn. Coolant Concentrate C12+ with highly effective frost and rust protection. Usable in cooling systems with all-aluminium engines. Mix according to chart. Follow manufacturer's recommendations.
Even in summer coolant must contain enough antifreeze to ensure good corrosion and overheating protection.
Instructions: Clean cooling system, check for leaks, flush.
Mix RAVENOL OTC Organic Techn. Coolant Concentrate C12+ with distilled water (per mixing chart) and add. Allow engine and heater to warm up, add coolant to fill level.
RAVENOL OTC Organic Techn. Coolant Concentrate C12+ can also be used in geothermal probes and geothermal collectors as recommended list of LAWA (Federal / State Working Group on Water in Germany).
MAN information for use:
Mixing prohibited with Type NF and Type N. Do not use silicone radiator hoses per MAN 334 Type 3 (blue) with coolants per MAN 324 Type SNF.

In the course of this process, the water flows through a column filled with ion exchange resin. This has theability to exchange its accumulated ions for the ions present in the water.
As the ion exchange resin cannot accumulate an infinite number of ions, they have to be “revived”, i.e. theyhave to be regenerated. This takes place using the currently most commonly used regeneration agents: sodiumchloride (water softening), hydrochloric acid (cation exchange) and sodium hydroxide (anion exchange). The conductivity of the water flowing through is constantly checked in a fully automated process and the ionexchanger unit regulates itself automatically.
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser deionised water is regularly checked by taking samples.
Application Note
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser is ideally suited to filling up vehicle batteries and for steam irons and aquariums (to reduce the hardness of the water).
