RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
are:complete restless burningno erosion of the flammabilityno change of the hazard categoryno r eduction of the viscosity, no illegal wastage in the pumpApplication note:Diesel fuel and fuel o il EL must have a temperature of more than 5°C when
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
is used (this is given when the goods are stored in an underground tank!).
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
itself must have a temperature of more than 0°C in case of use. Therefore, don’t store it outside.
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
will become viscous below 0°C – this will not influence the product quality. Please follow! In or der to guarantee an optimum mixing the diesel fuel should have a temperature of more than 0°C and th e fuel oil EL more than 5°C. As the average temperatures are between 6°C and 9°C in case of a normal underground tank storage and diesel fuel and fuel oil EL are normally delivered with higher tempera tures than the annual average it satisfies to pour the necessary quantity of
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
into the fixed tank or vehicle tank before the vehicle is fuelled. The “splash” during the filling of the vehicle secures the necessary stable mixing.Concerning overground positioned tanks approxim ately the half of diesel fuel or fuel oil quantity should be poured during the filling. If there is a deposit in the tank before filling a mixing with a temperature of more than 0°C can be secured. T hen the necessary quantity of
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
has to be poured and afterwards the second half of diesel fuel or fuel oil has to be tanked. After having added
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
(after having fuelled!) the engine of vehicles and working machines has to run approximately 10 min utes. Hereby it is secured that the
RAVENOL Fließverbesserer
reaches the fuel filter and the injection pump and can be effective there. This prevents starting p roblems.ATTENTION!Before use in common rail or pump injector vehicles be sure to read the operati ng instructions of the vehicle and follow the instructions of the vehicle manufacturer!

In the course of this process, the water flows through a column filled with ion exchange resin. This has theability to exchange its accumulated ions for the ions present in the water.
As the ion exchange resin cannot accumulate an infinite number of ions, they have to be “revived”, i.e. theyhave to be regenerated. This takes place using the currently most commonly used regeneration agents: sodiumchloride (water softening), hydrochloric acid (cation exchange) and sodium hydroxide (anion exchange). The conductivity of the water flowing through is constantly checked in a fully automated process and the ionexchanger unit regulates itself automatically.
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser deionised water is regularly checked by taking samples.
Application instructions
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser is ideally suited to filling up vehicle batteries and for steam irons and aquariums (to reduce the hardness of the water).
