For engine
Due to the USVO® technology we achieve an extremely high viscosity stability. We avoid the disadvantages of polymeric viscosity improvers while taking advantage of them. This improves engine protection, performance, engine cleanliness and oil drain intervals. The USVO® technology makes it possible that the product has no shear losses during the entire change interval and is extremely stable to oxidation. This unique technology helps oil lubricate faster, thereby minimizing friction while keeping the engine clean and efficient.

With its new formulation, RAVENOL FDS SAE 5W-30 provides a safe layer of lubrication even at very high operating temperatures and protects from corrosion and loss of oil through oxidation or coking. The excellent cold start behavior ensures optimum lubrication safety during the cold running phase.
By significantly reducing fuel consumption, RAVENOL FDS SAE 5W-30 helps to protect the environment by reducing emissions. It minimizes friction, wear and fuel consumption with excellent cold start characteristics.
RAVENOL FDS SAE 5W-30 ensures operational safety in all driving conditions such as in extreme stop-and-go traffic and high-speed motorway driving.
Extended oil change intervals according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Application Note
RAVENOL FDS SAE 5W-30 is suitable as motor oil for fuel-efficient year-round use in modern petrol and diesel engines in passenger cars, station wagon's, vans and similar vehicles from FORD, RENAULT, Toyota, Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Nissan und Mitsubishi, when the specifications ACEA A5/B5 are required.
Characteristics
- Excellent cold starting properties even at low temperatures of below -30 ° C
- A very stable and excellent viscosity characteristics, shear stability
- Fuel efficiency under all operating conditions
- Excellent detergency and dispersing properties
- Neutrality towards sealing materials
- Low evaporation loss, thereby lower oil consumption
- An extensive protection against wear, corrosion and foaming
- Catalyst suitability
- Extended oil change intervals to protect natural resources

DOT 4
Because of the special formulation of RAVENOL DOT 4 the international specifications SAE J 1704, ISO 4925 and the safety regulations FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4 from the United States of America are exceeded.
Application Note
RAVENOL DOT can be used in all vehicles for which the DOT 4 specification for brake fluids is required. It is suitable for all hydraulic brake systems with synthetic fluids.
RAVENOL DOT is miscible with all known brake fluids of the same specification. To use the high performance level of RAVENOL DOT , a complete change of the brake fluid is recommended.
RAVENOL DOT is not suitable for vehicles with mineral oil systems (e.g. certain Citroën models).
FOLLOW VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN ADDING BRAKE FLUID KEEP BRAKE FLUID CLEAN AND DRY. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materials may result in brake failure or costly repairs.
STORE BRAKE FLUID ONLY IN ITS ORIGINAL CONTAINER. KEEP CONTAINER CLEAN AND TIGHTLY CLOSED TO PREVENT ADSORPTION OF WATER. CAUTION! DO NOT REFILL CONTAINER AND DO NOT USE FOR OTHER LIQUIDS.
Dispose of used brake fluid responsibly (EU waste code 160113).
Brake fluid damages paint work –if spilt wash off immediately with plenty of water.
Characteristics
- optimum ABS characteristics
- chemical stability
- best lubrication efficiency
- neutral behaviour regarding brake parts
- low viscosity at low temperatures
- miscible with all brake fluids of the same specifications

Coolant
The quality of an antifreeze is no longer just determined by the antifreeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product), but by the rust protection.

- Product parameters
The quality of an antifreeze is no longer just determined by the antifreeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product), but by the rust protection.
That is why manufacturers subject antifreeze to lengthy corrosion and cavitation tests.
RAVENOL HJC Hybrid Japanese Coolant Premix -40°C protects the cooling system from rust, frost, and in summer, from overheating.
Application Note

It is no longer just the anti-freeze effect (which automatically exists in an ethylene-glycol based product) which is critical for the quality of a coolant, but also the rust protection.
Therefore manufacturers subject coolants to long corrosion and cavitation tests.
RAVENOL HJC Hybrid Japanese Coolant Concentrate protects the cooling system from corrosion, frost, and in the summer from overheating.
Application Note
RAVENOL HJC Hybrid Japanese Coolant Concentrate with frost and rust protection. Use according to the mixing chart. Follow manufacturer’s recommendations.
Even in summer coolant must contain enough antifreeze to ensure good corrosion and overheating protection.
Instructions: Clean cooling system, check for leaks, flush.
Mix RAVENOL HJC Hybrid Japanese Coolant Concentrate with distilled water (per mixing table) and add. Allow engine and heater to warm up, add coolant to fill level.

In the course of this process, the water flows through a column filled with ion exchange resin. This has theability to exchange its accumulated ions for the ions present in the water.
As the ion exchange resin cannot accumulate an infinite number of ions, they have to be “revived”, i.e. theyhave to be regenerated. This takes place using the currently most commonly used regeneration agents: sodiumchloride (water softening), hydrochloric acid (cation exchange) and sodium hydroxide (anion exchange). The conductivity of the water flowing through is constantly checked in a fully automated process and the ionexchanger unit regulates itself automatically.
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser deionised water is regularly checked by taking samples.
Application Note
RAVENOL destilliertes Wasser is ideally suited to filling up vehicle batteries and for steam irons and aquariums (to reduce the hardness of the water).

RAVENOL Professional Radiator Cleaner infiltrates and eliminates sludge and corrosion deposits.RAVENOL Professional Radiator Stop Cleaner neutralises lime residue.
Application Note
RAVENOL Professional Radiator Cleaner is added to the radiator. It is recommended to replace rubber parts affected by oil seepage.
Area of application:
Radiator repairs
In the event of reduced radiator performance
In the event of deposits in the cooling system
Changing coolant
For cleaning purposes after engine repairs due to oil in the cooling system
Application: RAVENOL Professional Radiator Cleaner suffices for up to 10 litres of coolant.
Fill in
RAVENOL Professional Radiator Cleanerin the used coolant and allow the engine to run at operating temperature for approx. 30 minutes. Drain contaminated mixture – in the case of severe contamination, repeat treatment if necessary. Rinse cooling system with clear water. Refill and remove air after cleaning the cooling system and check for leak tightness.
RAVENOL Professional Radiator Cleaner can lead to an improved cooling performance after repairs on the cooling system.
Characteristics
- Cleaning of the cooling and heating system
- Protection of the new coolant against prior contamination
- Elimination of sludge and corrosion residue
